Interior Design Service and Costing

Stage 1 – Concept
For each client, I create a concept board/moodboard which will contain all the main elements that are to be incorporated in the project, as well as the overall feel of the space.

Stage 2 – Sourcing
Once the concept has been agreed on, the specifics begin – which paint colours, which piece of furniture, wallpaper, flooring, plant life…etc. This stage also involves the measurement of the space.

Stage 3 – Quotation
Quotations of materials and trade’s. For example, how many wallpaper rolls will be needed, the price and how much it will cost to install. This stage also includes the time scheduling of trades and installers.

Stage 4 – Styling
Once the big items are completed (plumbing, paint, flooring…etc.) the furniture will be arranged, as well as the decorative items. After photos will then be taken.

Costing
Stage 1 – $120 for concept and moodboard
Stage 2 – $20-$25 an hour for sourcing (depending on size of project)
Stage 3 – $20-$25 an hour for quotation (depending on size of project)
Stage 4 – $120-$150 for styling (depending on size of project)
